Purchased two fixed Velux skylights to replace ones that lasted more than 20 years. I love the amount of brightness they bring into our living space even on a gloomy winter day. I also like the new white interior finish that blends well with the ceiling. The quality is exceptional for such an affordable product.

As part of a roof replacement I also replaced 3 46x46" skylights which had vented & fogged over. These were on a screened in porch & provided light for our living roof. Was very pleased with Velux in the past & appreciated their warranty on the glass.

It is amazing the difference light can add to a room. It wish i would have done it sooner. The installers made it look like it was always there , they were great, left the area clean and were very considerate about not making a mess. i absolutely would recommend them.

As an afterthought, we decided to inquire as to the replacement of our skylights as our roof was being replaced. Glad we did, what a change to the old plastic skylights that were almost opaque. We can actually see the 'sky' clearly.

I had this skylight installed to replace an older unit that was leaking and had a handle I never used. Since this skylight was installed, there is more natural light beaming through and feel warmer with less heat escaping

Velux's new, stronger flat glass and aluminum curbing are the best features, not to mention the no leak guarantee. Roof Top Services did an excellent job of removing necessary barrel tiles and replacing all wet/rotted wood underneath. Special Velux flashing installed under new curbs should prevent further water leakage, while 2 new Velux Skylights allow more light into my Lanai area.

We had 25 yr old cracked, scratched, yellowed, domed skylights in our living room which came with the house,(builders grade) which wasps may have been getting in but unsure at this point, and they looked horrendous. I doubted my husbands ability to carry these heavy things up a very, very steep ladder & jnstall them, but he insisted on saving the labor money. Neighbor helped the on first light. Hubby did second himself and they are PERFECT! I love the clarity;looks like there is no window whatsoever. It took about a couple hours to do each one start to finish. Way more light in room now!!!!!!! Do it already.
