5 Padilla Stacking Stoneware Mugs Coffee Drip Glaze Art Pottery Signed Pink Blue

Description

Offering this great vintage set of five Padilla stacking coffee mugs.  These mugs are handcrafted of a heavy grade stoneware.  They are configured to be placed on their sides with handles turned inward and layered for easy stacking and storage.  A paper towel holder with a heavy base would probably work great as a holder for these mugs to save on counter and shelf storage.  They are 4 1/4 inches tall and hold a generous 12 ounces to the rims.  These mugs are more a matte finish with varying shades of pale pink, lavender, and baby blue.  They remind me of the evening sky at sunset.  This set is used but has seen gentle wear.  There are no chips, cracks, stains, utensil markings, or crazing present.  They are all signed Padilla on the bottom.  All signatures are legible but of varying degree of clarity.  A couple of them show some fading.  I consider the set to be in excellent condition as they still continue to show beautifully.
