FREIWALD Pottery Arts Crafts Nouveau Amphora Matte Green Female Lady Faces Vase

Description

This listing is for a Richard Freiwald Art Pottery 6.5" W x 5" T Squat Shaped Vase.  He creates wonderful contemporary pieces in the Arts & Crafts / Art Nouveau Style similar to Grueby and Amphora.  He is most famous for his "Bat" Vases.  This Vase features 2 Long Haired Female Lady Heads / Faces emerging from the sides.  It has a wonderful Matte Green Glaze.  I could not find any other like this.  It is Signed with impressed circular "FREIWALD POTTERY" mark on bottom (photo 6).  There is a factory impressed circle on either side between faces.  I guess they are decoration.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs.  All rims and edges are perfect!  Very clean in and out!  Please view the photos carefully as they are my main description.
It is pretty heavy for its size weighing over 2 lbs before packing and will be securely packaged and double boxed.
It measures about 5" tall, 6 9/16" wide at body, 7 1/4" wide across heads, 4 9/16" across top rim with a 4 1/16" opening, and 3 1/4" at the base.
