    Description

For your consideration, here is a fabulous and large abstract footed Salad Bowl signed by the Iconic Michigan Artist John Glick, (1938 to 2017). Signed under the glaze with his trademark "Glick" signature, this magnificent piece of what I believe to be his early work measures about 10" in diameter and 5" tall including the feet. I have tried to show every aspect of this bowl but if you need more pictures please feel free to contact me. I have shown it with a can of Campbell's soup to give it scale and while the signature is discernible under the glaze, neither of the Plum Tree Pottery stamps seem to be visible. Found in an estate located a mere 5 miles from his studio, this piece shows many of the typical and expected playful and interesting uses of the processes used to make pottery. Wheel thrown, altered and stamped, then glazed with several of the many glazes Mr. Glick became known for through the decades he was at the helm of his famous Plum Tree Pottery. As always, I try to describe items as best I can. This bowl, while in excellent condition as described, is vintage, comes from an estate, and as such should be considered used. Please enlarge and review all of the photographs and ask any questions you have prior to purchase. Thank you.

    About Us
Please NOTE: International bidders--You are responsible for any duties and/or taxes that are levied on your purchase by your home country's Customs. I will not mark your package as a gift or under-report the value of your item. Please do not expect otherwise.
Most of the items I sell are VINTAGE. This means they may have been used. I typically do not sell what I would consider substandard or damaged items, but any item that has been used MAY shows minor signs of use. This is normal. While I do inspect all items I sell, it would be difficult to describe every minute imperfection in writing. I provide you with sharp, focused, properly exposed photographs to enhance my written description. Shipping is not free to me, and the costs keep going up--I purchase new boxes and packaging materials so that your item arrives in the same condition it left here in. I do not charge you for that. I charge you exactly what it costs me to SHIP your item, with NO handling charges. The shipping calculator is available to you before you bid, and if you have any questions about shipping or anything else, please contact me before you bid. After you receive your item, if you have ANY question at all about your purchase, DO NOT hesitate to contact me BEFORE you leave feedback. Your item will be shipped within the timeframe given in the listing. Usually that is within 3 business days after your payment has been completed. This allows me extra time if I am at work or have other obligations. Please let me know if you need your item by a specific date and I will do my best to oblige.
My goal is for you to experience 5 star service in every aspect of your transaction, but I am a human, and so occasionally something may slip past me. Please contact me before leaving your feedback and Detailed Seller Ratings if you feel that something is not the way you expected it to be. Thanks for taking the time to read this and good luck bidding!
