    Description

    JT Abernathy Mid-Century Blue Pottery Cup / Mug
    A world renown Master Potter, In his youth JT Abernathy earned multiple degrees from the prestigious Cranbrook Academy of Art and later became Professor and Head of the University of Michigan Ceramics Department in the early 1950s.
    This cup, in his signature blue glaze, measures approximately 3 1/4" tall with a 3 1/4" diameter and 5" across at the handle.
    Now 97 years old, JT still lives in Ann Arbor Michigan.
    Excellent condition.
