Ruan Hoffmann Anthropologie Jardin des Plantes Blue White Stripes Gold Vase MINT

Offered for sale is a uniquely outstanding vase designed by South African artist and ceramist Ruan Hoffmann for Anthropologie. (Sometimes his name is misspelled as ‘Ryan’.)
In the ‘Jardin des Plantes’ pattern, this vase has an organic, asymmetrical shape. As with many of the pieces he designed for Anthropologie, Hoffmann used his signature colors of cobalt blue and white. For this piece, he added gold for the pedestal and gold trim around the rim.
The bottom of the vase is signed ‘RUAN HOFFMANN’ with the date 2014 in Roman numerals.
Measurements: appx 7-3/4” high and 3” wide across the top opening.
This vase is in mint condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. There’s no wear at all to the gold. Hand wash only to prevent the colors fading and to keep the gold bright.
Discontinued at Anthropologie after 2014, this vase and other pieces in the same pattern are hard to find and rare.
